This course has been designed specifically for Wedding Celebrants who wish to add to their portfolio of services. The course is designed to enable you to study at your own pace in an interactive environment; making it perfect for working celebrants as they can fit the course in with their existing wedding commitments.

Currently the course is offered by Distance Learning only, although upon enrolment you will receive access to our Virtual Campus allowing you to chat to your tutors online, jump on the student forum, delve into the library of Podcasts and videos and check out the Job Board. The course is completely self-contained and will give you a defined career path at the end of it. Our tutors will be by your side every step of the way and through our Virtual Campus you will feel as though you have attended class without the hassle of ever having to leaving your desk.

From when your bride first approaches you with their ceremony details you will be in a position to help them create and plan all aspects of their dream wedding, including their ceremony. Your service will allow your clients peace of mind knowing their wedding and ceremony is in capable hands. You will experience firsthand the demands and requirements that come with being a Wedding Planner and how you can incorporate that with your Celebrancy commitments. You will also have the option to include training and a 3 month all access license to Australia’s only web based wedding planning software as part of your course materials. This will then be incorporated within your course assignments. The software will also be a great tool for you to manage your Celebrancy business as well.
Your course will include 16 assignments, 14 of which are based on authentic wedding briefs. These assignments will lead you through every stage of planning a wedding. You will be expected to treat your tutor as your bride and the assignment you submit as your proposal. Effectively you are building yourself a portfolio as you make your way through the course, allowing you to hit the ground running upon graduation. The last assignment in the course focuses on combining your existing Celebrancy business with your new wedding planning service.
The Certificate in Professional Wedding Planning is the most hands-on and comprehensive course available in Australia and it will equip students with the knowledge they need to work as professionals in the Wedding Industry.
